Mrs. Cheryl Welch is the wife of Steve Welch and she has two daughters: Mackenzie who is 14 and Greta who is 7. Her hobbies are gardening, hanging with her family and friends, riding her bike, spending time outdoors and traveling internationally. Mrs. Welch says that her greatest achievements are getting a second college degree while in her early 40's and she has also ridden around the world on her bicycle. This is her third year as a Spanish teacher here at HSHS and when asked to comment about it she said, "I think HSHS has the potential to become a first class academic institution and I'm pleased to be part of the effort as we continue moving in that direction." We also quote what her favorite thing about teaching here is: "I enjoy my students very much. I really like the challenges and rewards of building a Spanish program here as HSHS."
